In this last chapter in Leviticus, Moses passes down regulations regarding "vows". Thought this chapter is something of an "appendix" to what Moses has already delivered, God clearly had more He wanted to communicate. Once more we will find practical application for our lives as well.

Someone has said, "Large doors swing on small hinges". The "small hinge" of chapter 26 is the word "if". As we near the end of Leviticus, Moses breaks into a "mini sermon" on the importance of obedience! He tells them very pointedly that if they obey, there would be blessings and if they disobey there would be discipline. Once more we will see how all of this applies to us!

Pastor Jason takes us through one of the most remarkable chapters in the Bible. Chapter 23 deals with the seven feasts of Israel. However, this chapter not only provides a calendar for their feasts, it also provides a "Calendar" for God's plan of redemption.

With great privilege and position comes great responsibility. Here in chapters 21-22 of Leviticus, we see that the privilege of being a priest came with a higher degree of expectation in character and conduct. The same is true of us as New Testament "believer-priests".

There is a big difference between "saying prayers", and "crying out to God"! Pastor Jason take a detour from the Leviticus study to revisit one of the most famous prayers in the Bible. Chapter 19 seems like a collection of random rules at first glance. But, we will see some very important themes develop as we look closer. Within this section is what Jesus called the second greatest commandment, "love your neighbor as yourself".

Chapter 18 continues a section of of Leviticus dealing with regulations for the Israelites as it related to holy living. God exhorts Israel not to live like they did in Egypt (where they just came from) or like they lived in Canaan (where they were headed), but to live live separated unto HIm. Specifically, this chapter deals with regulations regarding sexual relationships. In a sex-saturated world, this in extremely timely and relevant.
